This question was for 5th graders .
What really??
Obviously at this age a student can only •think about doing addition
• simple logic - to drive a boat ,captain must be an adult i.e. at least 18 yrs
These were the answers given by students according to BBC
This question got viral ,stumped everyone & also termed as "unsolvable"
Well sources said this question is for critical awareness.
Can you do it??
The most sensible answer given was that
the weight of 26 sheep & 10 goat is 7,700kg.
In China driving a ship with cargo more than 5000 kg ,one should possessed a boat license for 5 yrs.
The min. age of getting boat license is 23 yrs
So for cargo of more than 5000 kg
One's age should be 28yrs.
